South Beach "The Novel" Party - Welcome to Miami

On Friday, February 15th, famed South Beach novelist Brian Antoni hosted an evening soiree with publishing house Grove/Atlantic, to celebrate the publication of Antoni’s second book, entitled South Beach: The Novel.

Miami’s top VIPs from the business, arts and entertainment world gathered at the 1920’s Mediterranean mansion, owned by Antoni’s parents on Flamingo Drive, including: Songwriter Desmond Child; Miami Beach Developer Robert Wennett; Principal of AIA Alison Spear; Owners of Rubell Family Collection Don and Mera Rubell; Visual Artist Carlos Betancourt; Artist Janine Antoni; winner of the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize; Photographer Iran Issa-Khan, just to name a few members of the famed guest list.

Valentine's Night in Chicago - Windy City Post

Valentine's Night at Fuegos restaurant in the outer suburbs of Chicago was a great venue to expose the romantic customers to Partida Margaritas. This was a special treat for all the love birds. 
Juan Luis Gonzalez the Chef and partner prepared authentic traditional Mexican food while the bar manager Ernesto hammered out Fuegos signature cocktails all night at the service bar. Ernesto is a talented bartender with a rich understanding of Mexican cocktails. Fuego is a very successful restaurant because of their passion and dedication to supplying the customers with a true Mexican experience from the Mariachi band to the guacamole cart. Shake and Strain

10th Annual Int'l Chocolate Show NY

Thanks for the welcome and I’m glad to be a part of the TALKDRINKS family. The 10th Annual International Chocolate Show was hosted in New York not to long ago. I was invited back after a very successful demo the year before. This year, I presented the ChocAmole, using a Reposado Tequila, for an excited crowd of 120 Tequila and chocolate fans. Divas Who Dine - Welcome to Miami

I have recently been named "Diva of Spirits" for our local chapter of Divas Who Dine. Divas Who Dine is a social networking group for women; quite a fabulous group of ladies. Our January luncheon was held at Devito Restaurant on South Beach. Bartender extraordinaire, Michael Flannery and I served Partida Passion Margaritas. The ladies loved them!!
I had the opportunity of meeting Michael at a Bombay Saphire Cocktail Competition and I was excited to find out that he was working there. He is a true mixologist and it's refreshing to find someone that takes such pride in his craft.
Devito South Beach is one of the hottest new restaurants on South Beach. The combination of a talented chef executing delicious Italian cuisine and someone like Michael behind the bar, they have the ideal recipe for success! Welcome to Miami - Marita

Partida Passion Margarita
1 lime, freshly squeezed
3/4 oz Partida Agave Nectar
1/2 oz Passion Fruit Nectar
2 oz Partida Blanco Tequila
Combine ingredients, shake and serve over ice.

MK Winter Tasting Nights - Windy City Post

MK in Chicago is a high profile Italian and French restaurant located in the River North District and home of mixologist, John Kidna. John, a very talented bar chef, recently placed 2nd in the Chicago USBG Competition. The other night I popped into see what he was up to and to taste some of his creative drinks. He likes to experiment and has been working on his distinctive Winter Tasting Menu. John hosts the Winter Tasting every Tuesday night at the bar where he pairs up unique and delightful libations for his guests to enjoy. I tried 2 of his specialty concoctions that dazzled the tongue and a MK signature cocktail. The “MK the Fix” is Effen Black Cherry Vodka, lemon sugar water, and topped with MK Pinot Nior. I highly suggest visiting MK for their food, drinks, and don’t forget to say hello to John! Cheers - Alex
